Denise is a graduate of Canisius College with a B.A. in English Education 7-12 and a Ms.Ed in Reading. She has dedicated her teaching career to empowering a diverse array of students for success. Denise has taught K-12 through Adult Education. Denise and Jackie created and designed All-Pro Tutoring and Test Prep as a way to help students of all ages and abilities reach their maximum potential. Denise is committed to further develop All-Pro Tutoring and Test Prep to its fullest.
Jackie teamed up with Denise to develop and offer an affordable tutoring/test prep service. Jackie earned her B.S. degree in Reading/Elementary Education from Medaille College and Ms.Ed in General Education from Canisius College. Jackie has taught elementary grades through Adult Education and has been a state and local instructor trainer for various educational programs. In addition to All-Pro Tutoring & Test Prep she teaches part-time at Niagara University.
Angela Micciche is a graduate of Buffalo State College with a B.A. in Humanities (concentration in English/Foreign Language) & a M.S. in Adult Education (concentration in Development). She has an abundance of experience in the Higher Education realm as well as Training/Workforce Development (Coaching & Mentoring) experience. Angela had the opportunity to study for one year in Siena Italy where she completed her Bachelor's degree. She is able to apply the concepts she learned there and in school in the classroom and one on one.
My passion in life is inspiring others to see their potential. I love seeing students' confidence get boosted. To teach and evolve; there is no greater feeling.
Kate Hood is a graduate of Buffalo State College's elementary education program. She earned a math concentration and has experience in all areas of elementary school. Kate spends a lot of her time helping students excel in school between substitute teaching and tutoring.
James is currently an instructor in mathematics at Medaille College and in Computer Science at SUNY @ Buffalo. Day jobs have included Junior High and High School teaching, many years of software development and part-time teaching at several local colleges. At this point he does ACT and SAT bootcamp classes and will be adding some individual tutoring as available.
Lauren earned her Bachelor's degree in English in 2013 and completed her Master's degree in Adolescent English Education in 2017 at Binghamton University. She has been a substitute teacher for over two years at multiple different districts in WNY, and has taught courses such as Creative Writing, Sports Literature, and 8th and 9th grade ELA as a long term substitute. This September, Lauren began working full-time at St. John the Baptist in Kenmore as their 8th grade Literature Teacher and Pre-K-6 Librarian. In her free time, she loves to read and write, and take her dog Otis for hikes!
Cheryl is an alumni of Clarence High School, SUNY Fredonia (B.S. Communications/Media) and SUNY College at Buffalo State (Ms.ED Secondary English Education). Cheryl is currently a doctoral student at SUNY Buffalo (PhD Curriculum in Science of Learning-CISL). She calls herself a career student who enjoys learning and developing daily. What is truly her joy and passion is guiding future minds and hearts to be better than they thought they could ever be.
David is a graduate of Niagara University with a bachelor's degree in math education 5-12. He is currently a graduate student in Niagara's special education 7-12 program. David enjoys working with students of all ages and strives to help them reach their maximum potential.
Corey lives with his wife and 3 children in Amherst, NY. Corey earned his Masters degree in Communication from the University at Buffalo. He has 15+ years of experience working in the Public Relations and Marketing fields. Most recently, Corey taught Public Speaking and Business Communications at Bryant and Stratton College. Currently he teaches SAT and ACT prep classes with All-Pro Tutoring & Test Prep, in addition to co-creating "The Nieman's Nook", a K-6 reading resource website.
Paul graduated from Hutchinson Central Technical High School with a Regents Technical Diploma in Building and Structural Technology before going on to Buffalo State College, where he earned a BA in Biology with a minor in Sociology. He then went on to Xavier University for his MA in Counseling Psychology. It was there, in Cincinnati, Ohio, 1988, he first began his work as a professional science and math tutor for Success Tutorial Associates, instructing a variety of students, many with Learning Disabilities. Though he went on from there to do clinical work as a Child and Adolescent Specialist for many years, he returned to his love of tutoring with Canisius College’s on-site program at Riverside High School in nearly all subjects, and tutored Math in an after-school program through Academic Talent Search. As an English teacher in Poland, he tutored many individual students, aged 10 - 40, many of whom were medical professionals, then returned to Buffalo, where he has been teaching Psychology at area colleges ever since. Along the way, he provided individual and small group tutorials in various science courses (Anatomy & Physiology, Chemistry, Human Biology, etc.) for 4 years at Trocaire’s Palisano Learning Center, and then 3 years of providing individual and small group tutorials in various science and math courses at both the High School and College levels, as well as SAT, GRE, and PCAT preparation with All Grades Home Tutoring. He is happy to now bring his breadth and depth of experience to All-Pro by teaching SAT and ACT preparation classes, as well as individual tutoring sessions for high school and college students in various math and science classes.
Carolyn Jordan received her BS in education at Buffalo State College and earned her Master of Education at Lewis and Clark College. She is thoroughly enjoying assisting learners of all ages to find their academic confidence.
Colleen earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Nazareth College and a Master's degree in Special Education from D'Youville College. She has been teaching for 15 years and currently teaches music to students in Pre- K-8 but has experience teaching a variety of subjects at all grade levels. During the 2014-15 school year, Colleen had the opportunity to teach music, English as a Foreign Language, and Geography/Earth Science to students in Germany.
